Baros Maldives

Just an amazing hotel. 15 minutes from the airport by super comfortable speedboat. No need to wait the transfer at the airport as the boat is already waiting for you. The island is unbelievably beautiful and the house reef is just awesome (saw huge tortoise while snorkeling). Rooms are beautiful, bed is super comfortable, Acqua Di Parma cosmetics in all the rooms. It was an amazing stay, we enjoyed every single moment. Thanks to all the staff for their excellent work

This is the first place I have ever been where the pictures on the internet fell utterly short of conveying how incredible a place was. Normally photos are much better than reality. Snorkeling using complimentary equipment was incredible.

I typically don't write reviews when the experience is good or very good, as I believe you get what you pay for. However, in this case, the exceptional service, attention to detail, and the genuinely friendly staff at this hotel truly deserve recognition. The facilities are impeccable—clean, luxurious, and exactly as advertised. The 5-star rating is well-deserved, and the photos do not exaggerate the quality. A word of advice: opt for the half-board option. It's great value for money, offering a wide range of delicious food options. The variety is impressive; you could stay for 10 days without repeating a dish, though I don’t imagine many would stay that long. Thanks again to Reema, our butler, and the entire team—from top management to the restaurant, breakfast, and dinner teams, and the diving center. You made us smile in the morning, laugh at dinner, and always attended to the smallest details. We felt truly welcomed without any pressure. Bravo!

Once again, the whole team at Baros Maldives made my third stay incredibly memorable, from the Front Office team to F&B, Kitchen, the Spa, and most importantly the Dive Centre as I spent most of my time on the boat diving. Here is a summary of my experience per department: Front Office: Domi was in touch with me a week before my arrival to make sure all my pre arrival questions were answered. She was very prompt and friendly and remembered me from my last stay in 2019. Azzam (And Maashiq who covered when Azzam was off) were my villa hosts. They were so quick in responding to my questions and booking requests. They were also diligent in sharing any updates about booking changes that I needed to know of which was really professional. There was a Gecko in my room on the second last night, and Azzam really did his best and sent some team members who tried to remove the gecko, and when they weren’t able to get rid of it, Azzam offered me a different room so I could feel comfortable, and I did. The second room was great and I didn’t see or hear any Geckos there. Well done team for your collaboration and professionalism. F&B and Kitchen: Breakfast at Lime was flawless. Dinner in Cayenne was the DREAM, and drinks at Sails bar were great. Service was smooth, everyone without exception was super friendly and professional including Afa(remembered her from my last stay), Peter, and everyone else. The food quality is unmatchable on top of the genuinely warm service. “No” is not an answer that you hear, the staff always try to accommodate your requests as much as possible which is what I love. Even in case of mistakes (like wrong orders) colleagues would own it and apologize sincerely and the rectification was made immediately. A big shout out to Chef Mousa for facilitating a super fun and informative cooking class for me on the day of my arrival. I really enjoyed his company and loved cooking with him. He’s very knowledgeable and talented!
